New Paranormal Tour Museum of Seminole County History

Tues-Fri: 1-5pm, Saturday: 9am-1pm

Cost: $3.18 for Adults, $1.06 kids 4-18

Local paranormal investigators visited the museum on Nov. 5, 2013 and again on Jan. 25, 2014 to delve into reports of unexplained “phenomena.” Using up-to-date computerized equipment, investigators detailed voice recordings, spiritual presences, orbs photographed with infrared cameras and other occurrences which were captured on those two evenings. Visitors to the museum can now take the tour on state-of-the-art tablets and visit the locations in the museum buildings where the heaviest paranormal activity was documented. The tour includes a side trip into the basement, where a high level of paranormal activity was experienced. The Museum’s main building (The former Old Folks Home) was built in 1926 and is one of the few buildings in Central Florida with a basement. For more information or details, call 407-665-2489.

Professor Lori Walters, Ph.D., will take us on a journey through space.

Franklin DeGroodt Memorial Library is proud to present the second season of “A Florida Remembered,” a series of programs highlighting Florida’s past. Topics will include Florida music, vintage postcards and their story, presidents and their presence in our state, the Civil War, woman suffragists, space exploration and a discussion of the classic novel, The Yearling.
